Water doesn't stop filling

I’ve replaced the switch already (Part #AP3867022). The problem didn’t stop. I tried it with all three different cycles (Whites/Colors/Delicates). The water continues to fill, until I manually move knob to about the middle of the dial. (After numbers countdown, before rinse) It also does not stop filling for the rinse part. That makes me think that it is in fact the pressure switch, but I just changed it.? I also blew air through the hose to see if it was clogged, or had ripped or something, but it seems to be okay too. Now I’m not sure of what to do. I read a different post about how it could be something to do with a siphoning situation with the drain hose. Does that make any sense? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

If it is filling but not overflowing then the water is draining out due to siphoning in the drain pipe.

Make sure there is air getting in the drain pipe and that the hose is high enough in the pipe to not cause siphoning.

It leaked all over the place. The water spilled over the edge of the tub. Is there another part involved that has to do with the water level? Not sure what to do…

Unless your new pressure switch is also bad, which is unlikely, I think the problem is with the timer or the valve assembly. Try replacing each one to see if that fixes the problem.

I switched the timer from another washer (same exact one) in our building. Nothing changed. I guess now I’ll try the valve. Is there an easy way to go about that?

Not difficult, here is the link to the service manual

Thank You so much for your help. I’m going to mess with this tomorrow, and I’ll let you know how it goes.

Okay, it was the pressure hose after all. Just found a crack. Can I get this at a Home Depot, or somewhere like that? Going to look into it now…

Take the tube with your to Home Depot or whatever hardware store you use and they should be able to match it with no problem.

Well I replaced the hose and the washer is working as it should. Done! Thanks so much for your help, it’s much appreciated.
