Alright, I know it’s an ancient dishwasher, but everything was working perfecly until the other day. Still turns on, fills with water, washes, etc., but it will not change cycles by itself AT ALL. If I manually move the knob it changes. I know nothing about fixing a dishwasher, but from what i’m reading it looks as though it’s probably a faulty timer. Sound right to anyone, any suggestions how I can find out if this is the problem or not before I go and buy a part (if I can even find it), and is it possible to fix without purchasing new parts?
