Whirlpool Duet wont spin error code F2

I have a 2yr old Whirlpool Duet front loading washer. It wont continue on to the spin cycle and just makes noise like the water pump is pumping but wont fully drain. I’ve pulled the drain hose from the drain pipe to watch the water drain but it seems like its just 1/4th the volume compared to what I expected to see. I keep getting an F2 code which I think is for a "slow drain". I have been told to check the drain hose and clean the "drain plug filter" and see if it has a blockage. My question is how do I do that? Where is the drain pump filter located and how do I access it? Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this problem? The tag on the back shows the model number to be GHW9150PW. There is not a "0", "1", "2" or "3" at the end of the part number like others have told me there should be. Any help would be appreciated as my laundry is piling up! Thanks!

Does anyone have any ideas???

Thanks! I’ll check out the bottom panel tonight and do the tests.

Sorry to seem impatient. I apologize. I didnt realize that the answers came from staff volunteers. I had thought the other forum members or whoever happend to read the post(s) just posted there advise or thoughts on the issue if they had any. Again I apologize.

I’ll respond with the results of the tests later tonight. Thanks again and you guys are appreciated! TNX Zeus

No problem, I understand how upset it can be when your machine does not work. Actually anyone who reads posts can respond, but there are those of us who are experienced in repair who do most of the responses.

I was following this thread in the shadows as it seemed we had the same problem. my trap was clear and I replaced my pump but still nothing. I set it to spin and drain and I can here what sounds like a relay click and then my pump starts working but the washwe does not begin to spin. Any other ideas?

Check under the top for the tech notes which will tell you how to do some diagnostics. Focus on the boards and the door switch.
